As the years passed Kidney Beans replaced the other beans. I remember going to Schwegemann's and they displayed beans and rice on an isle that was at least 18 ft. long with rice on shelves on one side and beans on the shelves opposite. But I managed to find someone who won't eat kidney beans. If it weren't for that I think that I would like this recipe (minus the green peppers).
